Clate is the co-founder and CEO of Infusionsoft, the leading provider of Email Marketing 2.0 software for small businesses. Clate has the hands-on experience and formal training to turn any entrepreneurial venture into a successful, value-building company.

In the early stages of Clate’s career, he wrote the business plan for a dot.com start-up called North Sky and was instrumental in helping to sell the company to About.com for $42 million. He continued to acquire various Internet properties, convert them from ‘free’ to ‘fee,’ and help them create additional revenue streams.

Clate eventually joined Scott and Eric Martineau at Infusionsoft as CEO. Clate has helped Infusionsoft become a leader in marketing and sales software for entrepreneurs. Over the last three years, the company has grown by more than 1200%, received numerous accolades, and has appeared on the Inc. 500 list for three consecutive years.

Scott is the co-founder and VP of Customer Experience at Infusionsoft. He started Infusionsoft as a custom software shop out of a small retail space in Mesa, AZ with his brother Eric and brother-in-law Clate. Scott is a serial entrepreneur who can’t imagine ever working a “regular job.” He is a technologist at heart and is driven by his vision: to create an easier way for entrepreneurs to run their small businesses.

Scott thinks entrepreneurs need to stop looking around and following the crowd. His suggestion: find your own mission in life and then go build a great company around that dream.
